The Kruger National Park is located close to the Taaibos Bush Lodge. The nearest gate, the Orpen gate, is only 40 minutes away by car. Kruger National Park is the size of a country like Belgium. About 147 species of mammals, 517 bird species and 120 reptile species call it home. Not only the animals love it over there, it is an awesome place to be for nature-loving humans as well.
When visiting Kruger National Park there are two options to choose from. You can either go on a selfdrive safari or join one of the experienced rangers on a half-day or full day safari. Both choices have their pro’s and cons. A selfdrive gives you the opportunity to explore the park yourself in a car. The first time you encounter an Elephant in close proximimity will never be forgotten 😉 A gamedrive with a ranger is also a great experience. He or she has a great knowledge about the bush and can tell you all about it’s residents while showing you the best spots.
